First Annual Muscatine Triathlon Presented by Sqwincher® Draws 200+ Athletes

A total of 206 people participated in the inaugural Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher® at Deep Lakes Park. The race started with a 750-meter swim, a 12.4-mile bike ride, and finished with a 5K run.

Friends and family watching those participating enjoyed games while watching the event via two jumbo screens, part of Musco Lighting's Experience Center. Several vendors set-up at a Farmer's Market adjacent to the race activities, including KENT WORLDWIDE™ brands: Mrs. Wages®, Sqwincher® and Chilly Churn™.

An After Party Saturday evening drew more people. Between all of the people who volunteered, spectated and participated in the events on Saturday, Director Adam Raisbeck estimates 1,500-2,000 people were in attendance.
